How to disassemble the broken axle of the wheel of a mine electric locomotive

 

The maintenance of the broken motor axle is a tricky thing for most small and medium mines. Because the assembly of the axle and the shaft is an interference fit, it is difficult to disassemble and disassemble intact and maintain accuracy.

 

1. Disassembly of the axle

The matching interference between the motor wheel shaft and the wheel shaft is large. If a large press is used to force the broken shaft remaining in the shaft to be forced out, it is easy to destroy the wheel shaft size. Moreover, small and medium-sized mine repair plants generally do not have large presses. . In order to facilitate the disassembly of the shaft without damaging the size of the wheel, and to ensure the accuracy and roughness of the wheel, drilling can be used. The specific operation is as follows: Use a drill bit with a price of 18-22~, drill three holes side by side along the diameter direction at the outer shaft end of the wheel, as shown in Figure 1.

 


Then use electric welding or gas welding to cut through the three holes in the radial direction, and then use a small press or a heavy hammer to easily punch out the broken shaft. In this way, Lun Yi can basically be guaranteed not to be damaged.

 

Note: 

①The three holes drilled must have the same hole spacing;

 ②There must be a certain margin between the two-hole walls of the edge and the side of the shaft, so as not to drill the holes on the wheel and cause damage to the wheel;

 ③the three holes to be drilled The depth of the hole should be more than 20mm thicker than the thickness of the wheel, or the shaft should be sawed off by the root.
